Jeffrey Liu

Actor, Performer, Musician

Jeffrey Liu is an artist, songwriter and actor. Originally aspiring to be a K-Pop star himself, he has performed K-Pop on many sold out stages including K-CON Festival Sydney. As a musician, Jeffrey dreams of penning radio hits as a songwriter and advocating for the queer Chinese-Australian experience through his artist project JËVA. In 2015 Jeffrey undertook two years of training at WAAPA, studying contemporary music to develop his artistry. Since releasing his debut pop EP ‘Typhoon’ in late 2021, JËVA has accrued over 70k streams on Spotify as an Independent artist, sold out his headline show at The Vanguard Sydney and has played to a crowd of thousands at Mardi Gras Fair Day 2022. K-BOX is Jeffrey’s debut role in acting. A natural with minimal training, Jeffrey takes pride in winning Best Actor in his Year 6 Assembly Performance of One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater. In his spare time Jeffrey enjoys making Tiktoks, multi-day hikes and championing Australian pop music on his weekly radio show ‘Tall Pop’ at FBi Radio.
