Justin Gardam

Sound Designer, Video Designer

Justin Gardam (he/him) is an award-winning designer whose practice spans sound, composition, video, and dramaturgy for theatre.

Malthouse Theatre credits, as Associate Sound Designer include Macbeth (an undoing); Homo Pentecostus and Hour of the Wolf. Other theatre credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, Animal Farm (Bloomshed); Shitbag (Tiny Table Reads), Hells Gates (Geelong Arts Centre/Space Company); Laurinda (Melbourne Theatre Company) and The Meeting (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre).

Justin is the recipient of three Green Room Awards and has received a further twelve Green Room Award nominations for his work with Bloomshed across design, writing and direction. He holds a Master of Dramaturgy from the Victorian College of the Arts.
