In the play, a man and a woman play 10 different characters in 10 scenes, all of which take place in a car traveling along the North Diversion Road. The themes of love and infidelity are explored on a road journey north of Manila in search for freedom and authentic being.
On the North Diversion Road (translated in Filipino as Sa North Diversion Road) is first Filipino play to be professionally produced in Australia. It later had a screen adaptation in the Philippines.
