New Adaptation Theatre Musical
One evening in 1932 a young girl climbed from the window of her outback home and wandered off in search of the moon. Her grief-stricken parents searched the landscape in vain, but small-minded bigotry kept them from turning to the one man who could retrace the footsteps of this child, snatched up by the night. Adapted from an original film of the same name.
"ROMERIL'S PROCESS IS TO BEGIN WITH AN INTENSE AWARENESS THAT IN THEATRE THE WORD IS MADE FLESH, AND OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES THIS GIVES RISE TO ... A POWERFUL TRADITIONAL WORK ETHIC OPERATES HERE, WHATEVER ELSE IS UNCONVENTIONAL."
